Introduction of Earn @ Sasol Convenience Store

We are excited to introduce to you Earn @ Convenience Store launching, to allow Rewards members the added benefit of earning points on selected in-store purchases.
What is Earn @ Convenience Store?
  • As a Sasol Rewards member, customers will now earn instant points at participating Sasol Delight stores.
  • Sasol Reward customers will earn one (1) point for every two (R2) rand spent on selected products at participating Sasol Delight stores.
  • Sasol Rewards customers will continue to earn thirty (30) points per litre on fuel purchases, at the forecourt (Ts & Cs apply)
How will the Earn @ Convenience Store Work?
  • Earn @ Convenience Store Sasol Rewards are applicable to selected products in-store.
  • Click here to download the Product Categories list, available to all participating Delight Stores.
  • Earning of points can be combined into one transaction for fuel and in-store purchases, and points will be reflected as a combined earn value.
  • Rewards customers can continue to redeem points on fuel and selected in-store purchases.

What are of the Rules for Earn @ Convenience Store Work?
Fuel transactions qualifying for Rewards points can be combined with in-store purchases and processed by the cashier at the POS (provided loyalty card is not swiped on the forecourt/ OPT).
No Sasol Rewards Card, no Points will be earned.
Non-loyalty qualifying products can be combined on the POS for settlement with Fuel purchases and/or with qualifying loyalty products.
Points can be redeemed for products not on the qualifying list of products.

1. How will Earn @ Convenience Store Rewards work?
As a Sasol Rewards member, customers will now earn instant points. Available ONLY at participating Sasol Delight convenience retail stores. Purchases are only applicable on selected products in-store. Product Categories list Customer will earn one (1) point for every two (R2) rand spent at the Sasol Delight convenience stores and continue to earn thirty (30) points per litre at the forecourt on fuel purchases (Ts & Cs apply).
2. Can I combine earn transactions on fuel and in-store purchases?
Earning of points can be combined into one transaction for fuel and in-store purchases, and points will be reflected as a combined earn value. Where requested, this transaction must be processed in-store.
3. Will I be able to spend my combined fuel and in-store points on fuel/in-store purchases?
Yes, customer points can continue to be spent at the forecourt on fuel and on in-store purchases.
4. Which products will I be able to earn points on in the Delight store?
Purchases are only applicable on selected products in-store. Product Categories list is available on www.sasolrewards.co.za, under the “Earn @ Convenience Store' tab.
5. If I am not registered on the Sasol Rewards program, will I be able to register and earn points for Sasol Delight store purchases?
Yes, the customer must register • Via the website www.sasolrewards.co.za • Use the WhatsApp line 0860 335 444 • Scan QR code at the back of card • Swipe the card on payment terminal on the forecourt.
6. Can customers combine 2 transactions, i.e., Fuel and Shop, to earn Points at C-store?
Cashiers can only combine 2 transactions on the POS if the loyalty card was not swiped on the OPT. Where the loyalty card was swiped on the OPT for fuel, this transaction must be settled separately on the POS.
7. What happens if the Sasol Rewards account gets paused by fraud filter transactions?
If the customer’s account has been caught by the fraud filters, the customer will need to visit the participating service station which he frequents and follow the normal un-pause card process, to continue to earn Points at C-Store.

No fair usage policy is applicable on the earn at C-Store. Earning Points on fuel remain a maximum of 100 (one hundred) litres of eligible product at Participating Sites within 24 hours.
9. Where can I see a list of Sasol Delight Convenience stores, where customers can earn their Points?
A list of Sasol Delight convenience retail stores, where Earn @Convenience Store is available, is shared on our website www.sasolrewards.co.za under the “Earn @ Convenience Store' tab.
10. If a customer loses their Sasol Rewards card, how do they replace it, to be able to earn Points at Convenience Store?
They would need to collect a new card from a participating service station and will need to complete the card replacement process on www.sasolrewards.co.za to link the new card to their profile and deactivate the lost card.
11. Will the points be earned on promotional items?
No.
12. Why is there an exclusion on certain categories?
They have been excluded due to Restrictions and Regulations e.g. You may be aware, Tobacco is a regulated product. This means tobacco can only be advertised at the point of sale.
